Review: I originally ordered this because I saw so many videos of the Cocoon Lip Stain Peel but I couldn't find anywhere to get it so when I saw this in a couple makeup videos from some Korean vloggers, I knew I had to have it. The color swatches looked so pretty and natural but still opaque enough to show. So when I discovered BeautyNetKorea and their great prices, I went ahead and ordered Secret Kiss's jelly lip tint. From what I saw, it was fairly good tint and for that price, I decided to take the plunge. I also received an additional 50% off due to a coupon code, so it didn't cost me very much. Shipping took a while but that's most likely because they ship the products from South Korea. When it did get to me, it was in good condition. No samples though. I think you have to order like $20-$30 worth of products to get samples. Anyways, now to the product itself. I found it interesting since you apply a gel to your lips, let it set for about 10-15 minutes, and then just peel off the now dried gel to reveal a tint on your lips. The first time I used it, I had completely primed and moisturized lips. Despite this, applying the gel to my lips was difficult. The applicator is a hard plastic that the product clings to so it's hard to properly and evenly apply the gel to your lips. I found myself trying to apply an even coat only to pull at and mess up areas that already had product on. I wasn't able to really layer the gel onto itself to get a bigger color payoff because of that. In terms of longevity, it lasted a couple hours before it completely came off while I was eating dinner. I won't be repurchasing this product again. I have longwear lipsticks that last longer, tint my lips well enough, and last through eating. I think the concept is really cool but I think the applicator doesn't help at all. I also found that not a whole lot of product came in the tube. I'm happy I ended up not spending a lot on this product because it definitely wasn't worth it.
A swatch of the gel still drying.
A swatch of the tint right after pulling the dried gel off.
And this is the tint with some clear lip balm smoothed over it.
