Review: I recently got my hair cut into a really short pixie and the bangs are really short so I went and got my eyebrows done. Because of this, I read up on how to groom and do brows. I have naturally thick brows but there are small spots where the hair is sparse, so I already knew that I was going to need something to fill those spots in but still look natural. Before I heard about this product, I was considering coughing up the $22 for the Anastasia diprow despite not liking how dark and opaque the shades are. Luckily, I came across this and at $6.99, I decided to take a chance and bought it. I had read a bunch of reviews that call it an affordable dupe for the Anastasia dipbrow. I can't say if it is, but I can say that I really like this product. I have it in the shade "Espresso" which is the second to last darkest shade. It's not super opaque, but for me, I found that to be a positive. It still blends in really well with my natural coloring. The actual product is quite creamy and is really easy to work with. Because of the creaminess, I find it to be really easy to blend with as well. It doesn't come with a brush, so I suggest that you have a good angled brow brush/liner brush to use with this product. I use the ELF Small Angled Brush and it works perfectly for me. I use this with the new Micro Brow Pencil (which I will be reviewing later in this post) and it just works so well to give me a bold but natural brow. And it's waterproof. When I swatched it on the inside of my wrist, I went to wash it off and it wouldn't budge. I love it. I probably won't be spending the cash on the Anastasia dipbrow since this pomade is absolutely perfect. Especially for people who are just beginning to learn how to fill in and do their brows since it's easy to blend and affordable, I can see this just being a great product to have in your makeup bag. Just, for the price, the amount you get (YOU GET MORE THAN THE DIPROW. JUST SAYIN'.), and the product itself, I will definitely be repurchasing this whenever I need it. Plus, this stuff stayed on perfectly with no smudging when I fell asleep with it on for a couple hours after I got home. Perfection.

Review: By the way, I use this product on its own as well as with the pomade. Anyways, I really like this pencil. It has just the right amount of color and the spoolie brush that comes on the other side of the pencil is just the perfect size to perfectly blend and brush out my brows. It's a tad bit lighter than the pomade but it makes it that much more natural looking when I blend both of them out. Like I mentioned before, I've read reviews that this was a dupe for the Anastasia Brow-Wiz. Now, for this I can say something about it. A friend of mine had gifted me with a sample-sized version of the Brow-Wiz back when I got my eyebrows waxed every two-three weeks. This was a few years back when Anastasia first came out with their Brow-Wiz. Back then, I found their product to be sort of difficult to work with and blend. There's definitely a learning curve with the Anastasia dipbrow and brow-wiz. I definitely feel like you have to already be comfortable with doing your eyebrows so I wouldn't recommend that stuff to beginners. I also found the product to just be really hard to use like I had to warm the product up on the back of my hand a bit before using. With the Micro Brow Pencil, I found that while not being quite creamy, it was still soft enough to be easy to use and blend while still being hard enough to stay on my face. I've worn this alone and I really like how it looks. Like I mentioned before, the color isn't as dark but it's just dark enough to look natural and I just love it. Also, this product has got some incredible staying power. Like the pomade, it's waterproof but comes off easily with makeup remover or face wash. Definitely would repurchase.

So all in all, I would recommend both products. Especially if you're on a budget. Not everyone can afford (or even justify) spending $20+ on makeup products that you just wear on your eyebrows. I love NYX's lip products so I'm not surprised that I love their eyebrow makeup. If you have any questions regarding the pomade and/or the brow pencil, please feel free to ask me.
