Outfit | Can't help falling in love

This is the first post that I have hoarded for days. I actually wore this last week and just never got around to making the post. Until now. Sort of. Anyway, there were barely any posts last week because it was my boyfriend's spring break (he goes to a UC so he has a different schedule from mine) and I wanted to spend it with him so I didn't have any time to take photos. So let's talk about the awesome week! It was so wonderful. I got to see him practically everyday and every night since Sunday. It's so weird to be in such a happy relationship. In a few days we'll have been together for three months and it has been a wonderful three months. I don't think I've been this happy and optimistic about a relationship ever. But this past week has been just so perfect. I didn't want it to end. It's weird to become so used to seeing someone, falling asleep to them breathing next to you, and waking up to them just being wonderful and perfect. And he's just so great and perfect. Although, I might be taking a break from drinking (alcohol) since I drank A LOT this past week as well. Ooop.

Outfit | Go away spring

Spring is officially here, well, it's been here for a few days, but that's besides the point. What was my point again? Oh yes, I was thinking about how much I dislike heat. It's not fun for me. I mean, I've lived in Central California my whole life so I should be used to the heat, right? I wish it was that easy. I hate how humid and sunny it can get here. If it's windy and cloudy with a hint of sun, I'm happy, but any more sun than that and I am a grumpy cat. I do enjoy getting to wear sunglasses though. Like these from Modcloth. I love the classical cat-eye shape and the colouring of the frames so of course, I had to get them. They're much more solid than I thought they'd be. Especially for Modcloth products. Now, I'm not saying that all of their products are poorly made, but every now and then you'll get a product that is definitely not worth the $30+ you spent on it.

Outfit | Restless

I've felt kind of restless the past couple of days. My restlessness was sort of taken care of when a friend and I took a spontaneous drive to San Francisco one night but now it's back. I think it's because I can feel the time ticking closer to events with friends that I'm excited for. There have also been cancelled plans which, normally, I'd be okay with because I'm saving money and I get to stay home, but recently it's just resulted in me being disappointed. It's a weird feeling being disappointed with cancelled plans. Ah well. My spring break is next month and I'm excited for what I've planned with friends. I also plan to use the break to watch some shows that friends have been recommending me and also, starting up on some anime that have been piling up in my list on Netflx Instant. There just doesn't seem to be enough time in my life to watch all of the movies, shows, anime, and read all of the books that I want to. Despite this, I have the most free time out of most of my friends. Meh. I tend to find ways to spend my time. In other news, VidCon is in June which means that I'm three months away from an incredible weekend. I cannot wait for it. Oh god. Out of everything in the summer that I'm excited for, that is the one thing that I'm majorly flailing around about.

Outfit | Spring!

I lazed around my house and ran a few errands for my dad today. I also cleaned my room out some. It was sort of productive save for the fact that I did no schoolwork even though I have stuff due next week. Anyway, it's spring and I could tell because the sun was out and shining and the wind was gently blowing. I hate spring because I lose an hour of sleep, it gets too hot, and it's also the time of year where I am so done with the school semester and so ready for lazy days and hanging out with friends. It does not bode well for my grades. Moving away from that, I got a new balm stain! I love Revlon balm stains because they come in a ridiculous amount of shades and they stay put pretty well. Revlon just recently released two new lines of balm stains, the matte stain and the shiny lacquer stain. I'm not one for shininess so I picked up two of the matte stains. I picked up a nice red one (which you can see in my last two posts) and this purple one that I'm wearing. I'm not sure if it makes me a bad style blogger but it's pretty fashionably known that spring is reserved for pastels and pink/magenta lips, but I'm totally feeling that I'll be wearing either this purple lip or the red one. They're a bit more dramatic than I actually am, but hey, a little bit of colour isn't that bad.

Outfit | With a little help from my friends

Normally, I take my photos in my backyard because I'm too nervous/shy to go out in public and take photos, but today, I changed things up a bit. Well, a lot. I ventured out downtown with one of my closest friends and she took control of my camera for a bit. I didn't micromanage as much as I thought I would considering that my friend used to take photos of my friends and I when we were in middle school and the early years of high school. It wasn't easy to smile and just sort of relax but I tried. It was awkward though because occasionally people would walk by and sort of smile but in a way that said "Oh hey ANOTHER person getting their photos taken." Anyway, I really wish that downtown was closer. There are so many great places that would be fun to take photos at but driving downtown takes at least 15-20 minutes and sometimes, you just don't have time for that. But at least I got to enjoy a day/evening in downtown with good friends.

Outfit | Another Cut

So I got a new haircut. I was originally going to get the Mia Farrow but then I decided on the Jean Seberg which is incredibly similar except for the bangs which are less blunt. Occasionally, I get this feeling to chop all of my hair off and that feeling attacked me last week so I went ahead and got one. I kinda feel like an Asian Hazel (TFIOS) only without the tears but I do indeed have an Augustus/Gus of my own. Also, if you haven't noticed, it's gotten warm enough here that I can wear shorts and short sleeves without tights and a cardigan. I both like this and hate it. I'm not the hugest fan of the heat but at least today, it was slightly windy. But even then, I know that this 80 degree weather is just a sign of the 90-100+ degree weather that will be coming in the summer. That is definitely not something I look forward to. Especially considering that Sac Comic Con, SacAnime, AND VidCon take place in the summer. Thankfully, last year at VidCon, it was pleasant weather and everyone smelled nice. I can't say the same about SacAnime....it gets hot AND only a tiny percentage of people smell pleasant at SacAnime. It was so bad that I even made a video where I ranted about it and ended up making a few enemies (probably people who don't wear deodorant, cologne, or perfume).
